"NME commissioned me to shoot Isaac Hayes when he was one his way home after working on a film in Europe. We had one night available, as he was on a stop-over flight to the US, so we met at his hotel, right next to Heathrow airport. He was disappointed he’d not had the time to do his usual bodybuilding routine while on the film set, to which I said I thought he still looked pretty good. We both laughed." Lawrence Watson

Lawrence Watson’s portraits of music royalty have visually defined our favourite musicians for decades. For Print Matters, Lawrence shares an exclusive collection of signed, limited edition prints of his globally renowned work.
